The Fiji Electricity Authority is working on building 4 sub-stations on Viti Levu to meet the electricity demand.
Chief Executive, Hasmukh Patel said the demand for power has gone up and they are spending close to $35 million to cater for the demand.
He said during this period FEA workers are also maintaining underground cables to see that power supply is not disrupted due to technical faults.
