The Commerce Commission's Executive Director Miliana Racule confirms to Village News they have carried out a review of the fuel surcharge on power usage after a request by the Fiji Electricity Authority.
Racule said an increase in the surcharge is expected due to the escalating fuel prices.
A statement on the FEA's new fuel surcharge rates is expected to be released soon after FEA is informed of the final determination.
FEA said it will comment on the matter later this week.
