A restructure of the Fiji electricity Authority is expected to get underway soon with the Government looking at the viability of divesting.
Attorney General and Minister for Public Enterprises, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum made this revelation yesterday after a Cabinet Meeting saying that this was in line with Government's plan to ensure more participation by the private sector.
Sayed Khaiyum added that expressions of interest have been called for and this would be mean partial privatisation.
He added that at the moment Fiji has the cheapest tariffs in the Pacific and this needs to re-looked at.
Sayed Khaiyum also revealed that another change would be the privatisation of the Government Printery services.
