People travelling towards Suva from Nausori are counting their lucky stars after a FEA electric pole fell down on the road near Colonial Centerpoint at Laucala Beach an hour ago.
Eyewitness Vika Vakarewa told Fijivillage that workers were repairing the power lines when the pole suddenly fell on the road.
No one received injuries.
However, this has resulted in a traffic jam and police have advised motorists to use the back road.
FEA confirmed there is a power blackout in Laucala Beach and nearby areas due to the incident.
