Fiji Electricity Authority has managed to restore power in all areas in the Central division which faced power disruptions this morning.
FEA is still compiling information on what may have caused the blackout before releasing details later today.
Questions relating to power blackout have been sent to FEA Chief Executive Hasmukh Patel this morning which remains unanswered.
Meanwhile, the Water Authority of Fiji is still calling on residents in the Central Division to brace themselves for water disruptions as their water pumps stopped this morning due to power blackout.
Spokesperson Michelle Tevita-Singh said residents should collect enough water as they will need to fill their reservoirs again and water cuts are expected.
The power blackout occurred just before 8 o'clock this morning.
