Services provided by the Fiji Electricity Authority are now expected to undergo a huge makeover as the work of employees and Board of the Authority will now be scrutinized.
Speaking at the signing of the Agreement between the Authority and the Ministry of Public Enterprise, Interim Minister for Public Enterprise, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the Key Performance Indicators will ensure staff and management of FEA provide enhanced services to their consumers.
A total of 47 KPIs were agreed upon between the Board and the Ministry. Out of these 47, 8 will look at the performance of the Board with the rest looking at the operations of the Authority.
One ensures that the volume of diesel is limited and brought down to less than 40% at the Monasavu Electricity Plant.
According to FEA the KPIs come into effect straight away.
