The Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) Chief Executive Officer said they are hopeful that some of the businesses will start generating their own electricity.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Hasmukh Patel said so far they have received some favorable responses from the business houses.
FEA had earlier announced that they will be approaching 40 businesses and request them to generate their own electricity as the Authority will only be able to cater for the residential areas.
