The Fiji Cane Growers Association is concerned about the comments made the Fiji Labour Party that Fiji should not rush into elections.
Association's General Secretary, Bala Dass said he is surprised by the what the FLP President, Jokapeci Koroi earlier said that Australia and New Zealand should not be allowed to bully Fiji into holding elections by March 2009.
He said that as a senior party in the Interim Government, the Fiji Labour Party is now questioning the character, credibility, leadership and resolve of Commodore Bainimarama after his commitment on the election timetable at the Forum in Tonga.
