The Fiji Audio Visual Commission is optimistic that 2008 will be a good year for the industry.
FAVC Chief Executive, Dan Bolea told Fijivillage news that the approaching cold season in Fiji is expected to attract movie producers to the country and they hope to close a deal very soon.
Bolea adds that they are confident the industry will play its part in contributing towards the economy.
He said announcements on the expected project will be made in due time.
