FAVC To Start Special Movie Screenings
Two of these movies shot in Fiji, Bootcamp and The Lost Treasures of Fiji which according to the Chief Executive of the Commission, Dan Bolea have shown light on the potential Fiji has, will be screened at Village 6 cinemas in one week's time.
Speaking to Fijivillage news, Bolea said this is in an incentive for the locals to start getting involved. He adds that for the Visual Studio Cty at the University of the South Pacific, there are a total of 5 studios and the people employed there all have degrees and qualifications in technological subjects, that are an added bonus when it comes to attracting International movie directors.
Bolea adds that apart from approaching Government for more incentives, they will also be looking at improving their infrastructure in terms of cameras and on-location props.
The Movie, Boot camp will be screened at Village 6 on the last day of this month with a sneak Preview of The Lost Treasures of Fiji in the first week of August.
