Fiji Audio Visual Commission CEO Dan Bolea this morning pleaded not guilty to four counts of abuse of office in the Suva Magistrates Court.
Magistrate Josaia Waqaivolavola was told that FICAC intends to call at least 6 witnesses during the trial and the case is adjourned till March 11th for mention where a trial date is expected to be set.
It is alleged that between January 2004 and July 2007, Bolea approved 4 separate payments for a Visa Business Account amounting to over $15,200 without the approval of the FAVC chairman.
