FASANOC is now seeking the views of the Commonwealth Games Federation Executive Board to allow Fiji to be part of the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
President Vidya Lakhan said the CGF President has written to him that in his view Fiji may not be allowed to be part of the Games but he has been advised that he will referred the matters to the Delhi meeting on the 11th of October two days before the Commonwealth Games General Assembly.
Lakhan said preparation for the 2010 Commonwealth will still continue.
Lakhan believes the decision not to allow any countries not to take part in the Commonwealth Games should lie with the General Assembly of the Commonwealth Games.
