These are sentiments echoed by FASANOC President, Vidya Lakhan, still confident that Fiji athletes will take part on the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
Lakhan stands by his earlier decision that Fiji should not be excluded from the Games to be held next year.
In their submission to the Commonwealth Games Federation Executive Board, Lakhan said they advised them that sports and politics are two different isuues, and should be separated.
Lakhan adds that it should be the prerogative of the CGF to decide whether Fiji participates in the Commonwealth Games or not.
