The Suva athletics team after a very overwhelming performance in the two-day FMF Chow Games competition yesterday proved that the coaching clinics held by FASANOC were very effective.
Speaking to Village Sports, Fiji blue ribbon champion Jone Delai said that team managers and coaches should take heed of such clinics as they provide a huge benefit to improve the kids performance during competitions.
Suva won the girls division with 16 gold, 9 silver and 6 bronze while at second place Cakaudrove/Bua/Macuata with 5 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze and at 3rd spot Ra with 4 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze.
In the boys division, Suva took the overall title with 21 gold, 17 silver and 6 bronze. In second place Lautoka with 5 gold, 7 silver and 7 bronze while Cakaudrove/Bua/Macuata finished at 3rd spot with 5 gold, 2 silver and 8 bronze.
