Two time FAME Award winning student Journalist, Riteshni Singh scooped another award at the University of the South Pacific Awards ceremony last night.

Singh who won the Living Pacific Tanoa Award for Journalism Student of the Year said the award is a boost for her and added that this shows the standard of coaching and help given by the University for students preparing them for jobs.

Meanwhile, Chief Guest at the Ceremony Sophie Foster once again reminded the student journalists that the media at the moment are going through hard times as they are being heavily scrutinized, but if one does their job correctly the profession can be the best for anyone.

A total of six awards were given put last night with the CFL award for the best Radio student going to second year, Rachna Lal with the event attended by faculty heads from the University.
