Fiji's exports are increasing.

The Fiji Bureau of Statistics state that the total exports for August this year were $187.8 million, an increase of $45.6 million from the previous month, July.

78.4% of this total export for August was live animals, animal products, prepared foodstuffs, beverages, spirits, tobacco, textiles and textile products.

The Bureau of Stats said for August, Fiji's major export destinations were the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

On the other hand, imports for August have totalled $336 million, an increase of $68.8 million from July of the same year.
