The Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama has expressed gratitude towards Fiji's trading partners for not imposing trade sanctions following the events of December 5th last year.
Speaking at the Exporter of the Year Awards last night at the Sofitel in Nadi, Commodore Bainimarama stressed that any trade sanction would have had a drastic impact on the economy.
He also highlighted that after visiting a number of farmers and producers, it is evident that many potential export sectors in Fiji remain untapped.
