The Consumer Council of Fiji has received complaints from flood victims in Navakai Nadi, that they have received expired products through donations from a New Zealand Organization following last month's floods.

Chief Executive Officer Premila Kumar said sixty households have reported receiving expired food items such as split peas, biscuits, cereal and drinks, some of which have expired in 2001.

Kumar said she is worried that Fiji is being used as a dumping ground for expired goods especially during times of great need.
