Countries in the Asia Pacific region have been warned that it may experience more tropical cyclones in the next two years with a maximum of seventeen.
Representatives from the Center for Excellence office based in Hawaii revealed this during the Disaster Management Exercise at the Novotel hotel.
Center for Excellence Director, Lieutenant General, John Goodman said a recent study has found that more tropical cyclones may hit the Asia Pacific region and the Pacific Island nations should start preparing for this.
The Disaster Management Exercise continues at the Novotel hotel today.
