The University of Fiji has assured the people of Fiji that qualified and experienced medical people will be brought in to train doctors at the Uma-Nand Medical Centre.
University of Fiji Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rajesh Chandra said that establishment of Unmanned Medical Centre will benefit the taxpayers and the people of Fiji a lot.
Professor Chandra also added that they are now looking for best people to teach at the medical school.
Earlier this week, the Interim government also showed their support to the establishment of the medical centre saying that it will produce doctors for our local market.
