Expect the unexpected-Rauluni
Speaking to Legend FM sports, FMF Flying Fijians captain Mosese Rauluni said that the boys have learnt from their mistakes in the first game, and is confident the boys will improve in their game tonight.
Rauluni also thanked the supporters back home for their continued support and for all to rally behind them and to expect the unexpected.
The Fiji/Canada match will kick off at mid night tonight, followed by the Samoa/Tonga match at 2am, and France meet Namibia at 7am.
Meanwhile, Wallabies coach John Connolly toasted his team's 32-20 Rugby World Cup win over Wales in Cardiff this morning and insisted his side will find a cure to their indiscipline second-half display which could cost them dear later in the tournament.
Worrying for the two-time champions was when winger Drew Mitchell and prop Nathan Sharpe were the two sin-binned in an untidy, nervy finale for the Wallabies.
Connolly, whose team will probably take on ailing defending champions England in the quarterfinals, said that the team lost a fair bit of concentration in the second half and gave Wales’s opportunities that they shouldn't have done.
In last night's World Cup matches; the All Blacks hammered Portugal by 108-13, Ireland defeated Georgia 14 - 10. Georgia led 10 - 7 10 minutes into the second half but Ireland came back through a well structured try.
The crowd was at the edge of their seat as the Georgians crossed the line with time up on the clock, only to be denied a historical victory as the ball was held up.
