People can expect cheaper international call rates by July this year.
Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum while briefing a Taiwanese trade delegation yesterday revealed that international gateway will open in July this year.
According to Sayed-Khaiyum this will mean that other telecommunication providers including mobile phone companies could bypass current exclusive license holder, FINTEL to provide international calls with overseas based companies.
