This is the 129th time England and Scotland - the traditional rivals will meet, for the first time on a neutral venue, and it could well be the most crucial in recent memory.

Both teams are playing for their Rugby World Cup lives, while Scotland have a chance to go through with a win, they realistically need to beat their biggest foe by more than seven points to make it secure.

However if they can achieve this then England face a very real possibility of elimination, with Argentina able to knock them out with a bonus point win over Georgia tomorrow.

England’s manager Martin Johnson has given Jonny Wilkinson the nod at first five eighth over Toby Flood, suggesting their attack is unlikely to be too adventurous.

While England is traditionally the favorite in this contest, upsets are not entirely uncommon.

In their last six meetings Scotland have won two and drawn one.

Most recently England just got up in a tight 22-16 win at Twickenham.

The England and Scotland match kicks off 7.30 tonight.
