Rugby fans in the country can expect top level performances from the six franchise teams when the 2008 Colonial Cup kicks-off this evening.
National 15s rugby coach Ilivasi Tabua who has been helping out with the preparation of the six teams, believes that spectators will be treated to some of the best rugby this season.
Tabua said tonight’s opening game between defending champion Stallions and Highlanders should lay the platform of what is to be expected in the Colonial Cup.
The Stallions and Highlanders match will kick-off at 6pm this evening and live commentary can be heard on our sister radio station Viti FM.
Tomorrow at 3pm in Churchill Park, the Crusaders host the Knights while at Garvey Park, the Roosters face the Sharks.
