More rain, strong winds, thunderstorms, lightening, flash flooding and extreme heat is expected until this Sunday in many parts of the country.
The Weather Officer Director Rajendra Prasad said that this kind of weather is due to the low pressure hanging over the Southern part of the country with another weak low pressure in the North Eastern part.
Police have advised motorists to take extra precaution on the roads during this wet weather to avoid accidents.
