This is after a minivan was involved in a accident when some people threw water at the driver in Lami.
Deputy Director Police Operations SP Erami Raibe has confirmed that seven people have also been charged with Damaging Property by Police.
Meanwhile, it has been established that a total of 12 men were involved in the brutal rape of a Class 8 student in Bua last week.
Assistant Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said that further investigations revealed that 12 men were allegedly involved in the rape of the 12 year old girl.
However, 7 people are in police custody at Seaqaqa Police station while the other five are expected to be arrested soon.
The victim went to spend Christmas at a relative’s house when the alleged incident took place. It is believed all the suspects were under the influence of liquor when the incident took place.
