Excitement and support is building up for the Coke Zero Deans Under 18 semifinals which will start at 2pm.

All predictions and rumors will be answered and clarified when four teams from different zones will display top class secondary schools rugby at Govind Park in Ba.

Marist Brothers High School, Ratu Kadavulevu School, Ratu Navula College and defending champion Lelean Memorial School are all ready to fight and win this afternoon.

Lone Southern Zone qualifier Marist Brothers High School will hope to continue their unbeaten crusade when they take on Lelean.

Marist last won the Deans title in 1977.

History favours Lelean and RKS as over the last 74 years of the Deans competition, Lelean has won the trophy 14 times and RKS 20 times.

RKS was the first to win the trophy in 1961 and holds the record for the longest defense of the Deans Trophy from 1980 to 1985.

Meanwhile, with the Coca Cola Games title and the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League Championship trophy both in the West this year, the challenge is now for Ratu Navula College to try and take the Coke Zero Deans trophy to the West as well.

Ratu Navula will take on RKS at 2.10pm in the first semifinal while Lelean will play Marist at 3.30pm in the second semifinal.

You can catch the live commentary of both games on Viti FM.

Looking at some of the results, Ratu Kadavulevu School will meet Queen Victoria School in the Under 14 Coke Zero Deans final next week.

This after RKS beat Marist 25-10 in the first semifinal and QVS thrashed Nasinu Secondary School 22-0 in the second semifinal.

Marist has qualified for the Under 15 final after defeating RKS 12-5.
