We cannot talk health and yet consume vast quantities of grog, tobacco and alcohol.
These are the words of Health Minister Dr Neil Sharma while speaking at the 2011 Arya Convention on the theme “Strengthening Social, Economic Base for a Sustained Future” this morning.
Dr Sharma said the development of humans can only develop further if the population is healthy and educated.
He said with these components in place we can progress to economic reforms.
The convention is currently underway at Bhawani Dayal Arya College in Nakasi.
