Former Fiji citizens will be allowed to hold Permanent Residency in Fiji from next month.
Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama confirms that the decision has been made by the interim cabinet and those former Fiji citizens who wish to come back and invest in Fiji or work here will be given PR status from 2008.
Bainimarama is now awaiting word from the Immigration Director, Viliame Naupoto to ensure that measures are implemented before the process begins from next year.
