Chairman of the Tailevu Provincial Council Josefa Serulagilagi said there is no other recommendation to make on the new criteria relating to the appointment of the members of the Great Council of Chiefs.
Serulagilagi said everything is gazette so it will be senseless if some people want to push their agenda by disregarding the changes made which is covered in the GCC Review Taskforce report.
However, Serulagilagi said the chiefs of the Tailevu Province want to listen to Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo and his team when they visit them next month during the Tailevu Provincial Council Meeting.
Last Thursday during the Naitasiri Provincial Council meeting, the chiefs and members of the Council rejected the new criterion which was set up by the interim administration.
