With the deadline set for compulsory telephone registrations for September 22nd, every mobile phone and landline user has been urged to register.
Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the decree clearly states that everyone has to register and there are no exemptions.
Fijivillage News had received some enquiries on whether the diplomatic community is exempt from registration.
However this is not the case and everyone who is using phones needs to register.
Sayed-Khaiyum has also made it clear that there will be no extension after the September 22nd deadline.
