Naba who was given the suspension last week for drinking after the London 7s is now cleared to be part of the Fiji 7s team to defend the gold medal in the Pacific Games next month.
National 7s coach Josateki Savou has confirmed to Village Sports that Naba will join the rest of the 13 member squad who will march into camp at Peninsula tomorrow night.
New Zealand based Simione Saravanua and Tomasi Mawi, will join the team in their preparations in the first week of August, before the team leaves for Samoa in the second week.
FRU Games Committee Chairman Rafaele Kasibulu said that their decision is based on the fact that Naba has appealed his suspension and after re-looking at the manager’s report, they decided to lift his suspension.
Kasibulu added that Lepani Nabuliwaqa has also written to the Games Committee denying the allegations leveled against him but the board rejected his appeal.
