A Strategic Framework for Change Coordinating Office (SFCC) will be established to ensure effective mainstreaming and implementation of the SFC and the Roadmap for Democracy and Sustainable Socio-economic Development.
This was approved by cabinet based on a submission by the Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama.
Bainimarama said that the SFC Coordinating Office is expected to play a pivotal role in ensuring proper coordination and monitoring of all government development projects and programs.
The SFC maps out government's response to the President's mandate to ensure a smooth transition to parliamentary democracy by 2014.
The Framework provides the blueprint for sustainable democratic and socio-economic development, culminating with the holding of General Elections no later than September 2014.
