Police have managed to arrest a prisoner, Indra Mali who escaped from the Nasinu Prison last Saturday.
Sigatoka Police arrested Mali in Cuvu Sigatoka after a tipoff yesterday. Mali was convicted for murder in 2002.
Mali and another prisoner Tang Lu Guang were serving life sentences for murder when they escaped. Guang who is still on the run was convicted for murder in 2005. Guang is armed and can strike anywhere at any time.
Members of the public have also been warned not to give shelter to prisoners, as anyone found doing so will be prosecuted.
