Escaped prisoner re-captured
Police Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed that Delana along with another prisoner escaped from the Nasinu court house yesterday afternoon.
Sokomuri also said Delana and his fellow escapee are now suspects in the home invasion in Princess Road early this morning.
Sokomuri said at the moment there are now eight escapees in total who remain on the run after escaping from Nasinu and the Natabua prison over the last week.
Meanwhile, Police are on the lookout for a car that was stolen during the early morning robbery along Princess Road.
Samabula Police say that a group of men entered the house and terrorized the family at around two this morning before walking away with assorted items like cash, laptops and even jewelry.
The thieves after terrorizing the family, escaped from the scene in a cream colored Toyota land cruiser registration DX 110.
It is believed that this car may be used in another robbery and Police are asking members of the public to call them if they know anything about the stolen vehicle.
