Last year Benito Eremasi cheered for the national sevens side during the Gold Coast 7s in front of the TV but now he wants to be part of the tournament next week.
The former Marist Brothers High School student said Gold Coast is one of the tournaments missing from his list.
Eremasi who captained Fiji to the Pacific Mini Games added that he knows Ben Ryan is a no nonsense coach and is expecting to learn new things from him.
The Gold Coast 7s will be held next Saturday and Sunday where Fiji will play Wales, Canada and Portugal in pool play.
