The Interim Prime Minister has today called on the people of the country who are opposing the People's Charter, to change and ensure that the racial divide in the country is eradicated.
Commodore Bainimarama said a lot of opposing views have been expressed about the Charter over the past few weeks and it is now time for people to re-examine the objectives of the Charter.
He said that no one will be hurt in Fiji if we have a truly democratic and united nation which has equal opportunities for all the people of the country.
Meanwhile, the Interim Prime Minister has stressed that Fiji will not have the next elections until the country has a People's Charter.
