The Parents of those students who are being assisted through Save the Children Fiji should ensure that their children are going to school.
These are the words of Save the Children Fiji Chief Executive Chandra Shekhar whose comments comes after it was discovered that some students who were being assisted by the fund did not turn up to their respective schools.
He said that the onus is on the parents.
Shekhar said an investigation was carried out by the Fund and they found out that the students from two families who were provided with school stationeries, uniforms and shoes were not going school.
Shekhar said that they assisted the family with other difficulties that they were facing.
More than 1041 students have been assisted by the fund so far.
