The interim Minister for Education said every parent must ensure all school fees are paid in full, so that their children are not sent home by the schools.
Filipe Bole said the third term is crucial as thousands of children will be sitting for their external exams and none of them should have to face any unnecessary disruptions due to their parents failure in settling their fees.
Bole said the ministry cannot do much as different schools have different ways of dealing with the non-payment of fees.
The final school term of the year begins today.
