The Water Supply Department confirms there is enough water in storage but for today only, adding water shutdowns will be the last option.
Divisional Water Engineer Central/Eastern Division, Sereicocoko Yanuyanurua confirms there is sufficient water in the reservoirs to cater for people living along the Suva/Nausori corridor for today only.
Yanuyanurua said they do not want schools and businesses to be affected and planned water shutdowns will be the last option.
He added the only area that will not receive water will be Veisari and water trucks will be used to supply water to the people.
