Fiji will have enough chicken for this festive season
General Manager of Goodman Fielder Asia Pacific Shaun Joils said Fiji has the potential to be 100% self sufficient in poultry meat production
He revealed this to Primary Industries Minister Joketani Cokanasiga and his entourage during a field tour where they were shown the latest in production technology being used.
Joils said the company is interlocked with communities in the country through the smallholder program and landowner arrangement.
He said the Crest feed mill manufactures over 40,000 tonnes of quality stock feed each year, for their own farms, smallholders, local and export markets.
