Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama had made this call to the SDL Party and Methodist Church of Fiji executives as he said that there has been enough opposition and people should now work together.
Bainimarama said everyone should understand the basis of the proposed electoral reform and we can only move forward if people step forward to have genuine dialogue.
He said if people continue to oppose the interim government's initiatives, the elections will be delayed.
Commodore Bainimarama also said SDL had definitely lost its 80 percent support from the indigenous Fijians since 2006 and we should now leave it to the people to decide on whether they want the People's Charter.
Meanwhile, Acting Chief Justice Anthony Gates, Justice John Byrne and Justice Davendra Pathik have stated in their ruling of the Qarase vs Bainimarama case that they do not find it appropriate to set a definite timetable for the next elections in Fiji.
They believed that the President will take the right step at the right time.
