The England Football Association has been fined 5,000 Euros by UEFA for the “inappropriate conduct” of England fans.
The fine was for the attempted pitch invasion by supporters during the 3-2 win in last Saturday’s Euro 2012 Group D victory over Sweden.
The English FA has decided not to contest the fine, maintaining the relatively small amount reflects UEFA’s belief the incident was not serious.
Meanwhile, Portugal will meet the Czech Republic at 6:45am tomorrow in the first quarterfinal.
Germany will take on Greece on Saturday
France will play Spain in another quarterfinal on Sunday and on Monday England will play Italy in the last quarterfinal.
All the quarterfinals start 6.45am.
