The England 7s team has won the Japan 7s after defeating series leaders South Africa 21-14 in a tough final.
England lanky forward George Burgess scored the last try to secure the English side their first title this series.
Meanwhile the Vodafone Fiji 7s side defeated Canada 21-19 to finish in third place after Savenaca Rawaca scored a try from a timely off load from Semi Kunatani in the dying minute.
Looking at the World Seven Series Points table, South Africa is still leading with 129 points, Fiji is second with 125 points, New Zealand has 120 points in third place while England moved up to fourth place with 100 points.
All teams will now have a month break before the final two legs in Glasgow and London next month.
Looking at the Glasgow 7s pools, England is pooled with France, Australia and Russia in pool A.
Series leaders South Africa is drawn in a tough pool alongside New Zealand, Samoa and Kenya.
Fiji is up against host Scotland, Wales and Portugal in pool C while Canada is pooled with Japan, USA and Argentina in pool D.
The Glasgow 7s will be held on the 9th and 10th of next month.
Meanwhile the Vodafone Fiji 7s side will be arriving into the country tomorrow.
