The Vodafone Flying Fijians will be dangerous and determined to cause an upset in the opener at Twickenham, says England' number eight Ben Morgan.
Morgan says Fiji’s captain Akapusi Qera will be hugely influential in the opening game of the Rugby World Cup 2015.
Morgan adds that England will be “fools” to think Fiji is incapable of pulling off a shock victory over the hosts in the opening game of the Rugby World Cup.
With less than a week remaining to the Pool A clash at Twickenham this Saturday, Morgan says the Fijians were a much‑improved team and would be itching to cause an upset on such a high‑profile stage.
He adds they will have to treat every game as a knock‑out and they cannot afford to have slip‑ups.
From the first whistle, they will have to be right up there.
Morgan adds Qera has already warned England that the Pacific Islanders “will die for each other” and are the best Fijian team he has played with over the past decade.
Morgan has played with Qera at Gloucester and believes the 31‑year‑old flanker will have a huge influence on the match.
He believes home advantage will be crucial for England, especially with the evening kick‑off.
Fiji will take on England in Twickenham at 7am this Saturday.
