England soccer team has registered its first win in the Euro 2012 beating Sweden 3-2 this morning.

England now has four points from two matches.
 
England soccer coach, Roy Hodgson has confirmed Wayne Rooney will return to the starting lineup after serving his two game ban. 

Rooney will make his comeback in the final Group D clash with co hosts Ukraine on Tuesday.

England and France now have four points in Group D and should qualify for the quarters should they win their last group matches.
 
In another match this morning, France beat Ukraine 2-0.

France lead Group D with four points as they have better goal difference compared to England.

Sweden has bowed out of the tournament.
