The England 7s rugby side is trying to leave past memories behind and do well in the New Zealand International 7s tournament, starting in the next hour in Wellington.
They haven't tasted victory in Wellington although they have won the Bowl and Plate finals and played in the Cup final in 2003.
Team Captain Ben Gollings said this time around, his side could be lucky.
Gollings said they are a pretty young side but that should be a problem.
Gollings said if England fails to do well, he will then put his bet on Samoa.
England opens the 2009 New Zealand International 7s tournament with opening match against France at 12pm.
Fiji plays USA at 12.44pm.
