Engineers are working at the moment on the final stages of ensuring water supply is back to normal this morning for those that went without water since Monday night.
PWD spokesman, Maika Nagalu said the pump station in Waimanu was fixed last night at around 7pm and at the moment the 7 member engineering team is going around airing all hydrants.
Meanwhile, father of one, Davendran Subramani who stays in Qauia and who has gone without water for two days now said neighbours in his area have lost hope and are turning to using water in his tank.
Areas affected by the water cuts are the high areas in Samabula, Lakeba Street, Princes Road, Areas in Namadi Heights, Pathik Crescent, Salesi Road, Salato Road, the High areas of Lami, Qauia and Delainavesi.
