It is a challenge for the Labour Ministry to educate all employees about the Employment Regulations promulgation.
This comment comes from the Permanent Secretary for the Labour Ministry Taito Waqa who is also calling on the employers to educate their workers about the new law.
Waqa while speaking in a talkback show on our Sister Station Radio Sargam yesterday afternoon, said that the Unions have done their part by educating their members about the promulgation and now its also time for the employers to do so as not many people know about the new law in place.
The new Employment Relations Promulgation came into effect from Wednesday.
