A 51 year old carpenter of Naviti, Yasawa, died after he was electrocuted while trying to charge a telephone at Naviti.
The deceased was working with a 40 year old carpenter at a new resort when he decided to charge the telephone battery on the power supplied by a generator.
Another carpenter who was with the deceased, pulled the extension cord from the generator when he heard the victim yelling.
He took the deceased to Kese Health Center but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The post mortem will be conducted on Monday.
